Song Lyric(of the whenever the heck I feel like):

"Give me your hand / Your mother is drunk as all the firemen shake/ A photo from father’s arms / Cinder and smoke / You’ll ask me to pray for rain / With ash in your mouth / You’ll ask it to burn again" Cinder and Smoke by Iron & Wine

Thought to Think About(of the whenever the heck I feel like):

It is my honest belief that everyone believes in something that they don't believe in.

Not for the Weak Minded

Oh. My.Goat. This is the creepiest song you will EVER read/listen to. I do not recommend this son by any stretch of the imagination. I just can't believe it's out there...I mean I can believe it but GOSH...it's like...devil worship. Possibly the worst song ever written in my opinion. It's so...awful! It's literally devil worship. I'm not going to post the lyrics here because I don't want the lyrics contaminating my blog but if you absolutely MUST look it up to see it's awfulness it's called, "My Dark Desires" by Dark Funeral. I came across it by accident looking for another song on playlist. I was curious so I pressed play and I couldn't understand the lyrics so I looked it up. Gosh. If you're calling for the devil, then go for it but don't filter the world with it. Usually I'm open-minded when it comes to music but this song just freaks me out to the point of actually hating the song with a passion. I'm going to go burn my eyes out now so I'll never have to see/remember those lyrics. They sent shudders through my spine.

Please read the other two posts before this...I'm on a blog spree today.

Shopping at Kohl's(Post for the girls)

As always, there were amazing sales. But guess what the best part is? On sale were splendidly fantastical bunny slippers. Yes, that's right. Pink and fuzzy bunny slippers. I also bought two really cute pairs of jeans and I also got a black blazer and two new tops. I didn't post the pictures of the jeans. One is dark and one is light. I figured you all knew what jeans looked like. I posted how I'm going to wear the shirts with the blazer and the shirts by themselves. Enjoy(ladies, of course):

Hope you enjoyed an inventory of my new clothes.

More Auditions? Is this supposed to help the stress zits?

Since I am in Drama Club, I decided to try out for The Great Highschool Whodunnit. It's a play that only drama members are in and we learn lines and stuff but we also get to interact with the audience. As in, the audience is allowed to respond to us so it takes a lot of improv. Yesterday was the audition for it. There were 14 possible characters that have basically equal parts. I'm Daphne Dudley, a spoiled, whiny brat that gets anything she wants from Daddy. I'm happy with my part. It'll be fun.

In other news, I'm also trying out for Guys & Dolls, the school musical this year, as I have for the past two years. For the past two years, I've been a chorus member. I'm hoping that this year I'll get a speaking role considering that I am in the other play now and I can prove myself worthy of a big-ish part.

Onto more auditions, since I'm doing Honors Band this year, I have to try out for All-District, which I was going do anyways. And I have to audition for UNCG Honors Band. So, yes, lots of auditions and such things.

I'll update on the audition stuff as they come. For now, let's celebrating my part in the play! Yay!!!! Oh,yeah, for my auditions, she gave me and improv scene where I had to be spoiled and such things. I started off with saying I wanted a pony. And so the scene went on with me wanting my GIRL pony no matter what with hot pink ribbons and a braided tail. And since ponies eventually grow up to be horses, I said, "So, I'll just get rid of it and buy a new one." It was fun to act that part and so I got that part. Yay! I'm not sure when the dates are but I'll let y'all know if you want to come see it. It should be pretty good. It's going to be a "dinner theatre" if I remember correctly.

Laters everyone!

Well...here it is

It's not that great, at least the recording isn't. I wasn't warmed up at all and my camera is not multimedia so it doesn't record things very well but you can get the general idea. I'm not sure if I'm going to add onto it or not. It's short but I kinda like it.
By the way, you guys better like this. It took me 20 minutes to get this completely uploaded.

Results of Western

We made finals!!!
We finished 8th overall.
There was a total of 28 bands.
That's right. We rock. :)

On another note, I'm composing a piece of music. I've played around with it on a demo computer program but that's complicated. So, I'm hand writing one. When we went to the mall, I went into a bookstore and got a bargain priced journal type book that has "Music" written on the front in fancy letters. Inside are blank music pages. I'm composing a piece titled "Nightmare"...it's going to be in three stages. An intro, a slow part, and an intense part. It's supposed to be like the three stages of a bad dream. It's for flute. I will play it and record it if you'd like to hear it. So far it's pretty nifty.

Going to Western

Hey guess where I am? Well, not currently since I'm typing this post. But anyways, I'm going to Western today for the WCU Tournament of Champions contest for band. I'm really tired right now...functioning on about five hours of sleep. We perform today at 3:30 which will decide if we go to finals or not. We've made finals every year the school has been opened and everyone doesn't want that to change but it's quite possible it could change today. Bob Buckner(band director of WCU and also a judge) said that this could be the hardest year at Western for NL. As much as I'd love to make finals, I'm trying to be realistic. These bands are like us on steroids of every kind...so yeah, they're pretty good I guess. (sarcasm :])

We are staying overnight this year at Western, unfortunately. I think tomorrow we're doing some tourism mess...what is there to see in Cullowee besides WCU and a couple of trees here and there? Oh well. The seniors HAVE to have their overnight trip. *rolls eyes* Personally, I wouldn't mind coming home at two in the morning on Sunday and then sleeping all day but ooh no, we HAVE to make this an overnight trip to where we won't be going to sleep tonight until very late and getting up very early thus concluding that my much needed 10 hours of sleep on the weekend will not happen. Grrr.

Man, I'm tired. I feel like I could go to sleep right now at the computer. If Mr. U would have just let us leave the ballgame early....oh nevermind. I suppose I am going to go now.

Oh, you might be wondering why, if we perform at 3:30 today, am I up at 6 in the morning. Well, because, we have a practice today at 8AM sharp...about an hour long practice. Yeah, that's going to go well with everyone half dead.

Well that's all for now. I tried to get a blog post in before I left today. I will tell you the results when I get the chance to. And I WILL visit other blogs when I have the chance. Monday might be out because there's a drama club meeting at 3:10...well I'll be home by five so we'll see how much homework and how tired I am. :) Laters everyone. Have a well-rested and fun-filled weekend while I attempt to sleep on a noisy, uncomfortable, charter bus. Ugh.

Wanna make your brain hurt?

Then take Chemistry. There was once a time when I wanted to be a chemist but I'm not sure my brain could hold this much information. We're only a little over a month into school and for me, into Chemistry and I'm already having trouble remember everything. I just got finished doing a crossword and extra credit worksheet, both due Friday. I did them tonight because I actually had time to do them and get help from my dad if I need it(he's a smart scientist dude and was quite useful). The extra credit worksheet...holy CRAP. You had to know everything about anything with elements...not really, I'm exaggerating but STILL...had I been working alone without his help, my brain might have gone into cardiac arrest. That's right, I have two hearts. One in my chest and one in my brain. I'm special. :) hahaha just kidding. I mean, I like the subject Chemistry, I really do. I think it's fascinating stuff but dang, I could never make it a profession.

It's been a while since I've last blogged, I know, and this doesn't really make up for it but honestly, my life is boring, a little hectic at times, but boring.

The band goes to Western this weekend. Potentially the toughest competition up there for the Knights EVER. Lots of bands. Very hard to make finals. We've made finals every year that North has been open and I really, really don't wanna lose that streak. So wish us luck.

I'll try to visit everyone's blog sometime this week if I have time. Tomorrow is band practice. Friday is home football game. Saturday/Sunday are Western. I'm not getting much sleep this week/weekend. Joy. Ugh. If not this week, maybe Monday since I don't have band practice on Mondays anymore unless scheduled otherwise.

Okay, that's all. Laters my gators.
